Around the time when Roxie came into heat, the carefully picked stud dog developed a urine infection so was out of action. It was decided that we would use Logan instead. After a quick round of test updating and a bit of paperwork we were ready to go.
On March 4, 2005 our Roxie gave birth to a lovely litter of 8 puppies. See our Roxie/Logan Puppies page for more infomation and many pictures from the litter.
Laura is the pick of that Roxie/Logan litter of 2005. The nice thing is that she almost seemed to pick us as well. She was always the first to crawl into our laps when we sat down in the puppy room.
She is a beardie brat to the roots. A beautiful, spunky girl with more charm that any beardie we have ever met (and that is saying a lot).
We finally started working on her CH during the summer of 2007 and she finished her CH at the OKC show in November under the superb handling of Emily Burdon picking up one group placement along the way.
She is now working on her CD (our project for the 2008 season) and we may well put her in a few conformation shows to see if she can revisit the group ring or better.
